Assalamu Alaikum, brothers and sisters.
I hope you are all doing well.
Today, after a very long time, I received a call from a friend. He asked me, “Azeem bhai, how are the conditions in the UAE?”
I told him that the UAE is doing very well. I did not say this simply because I live here. I said it based on my personal experience. I have visited Germany and a few other European countries and spent some time there. I am originally from Pakistan, which will always be my home country. However, after moving to the UAE and then traveling to Europe, observing the lifestyle, culture, and daily life in different countries, I realized that the UAE is truly one of the best places to live.
One of the biggest blessings is that we can freely practice our religion. I live in Ajman, and whether it is Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, or Abu Dhabi, there are beautiful mosques everywhere. Offering prayers is never a problem. People from different religions and backgrounds live together peacefully. Muslims, Hindus, and people from many other communities can sit together in the same restaurants, work together, and respect one another without any issues.
Life here is comfortable and secure. We travel, enjoy our lives, work, do business, and spend time with our families. I own a car, and by the grace of Allah, transportation and daily life are convenient. There is very little harassment, and the level of safety and security is excellent. The local people are respectful, and the police and authorities maintain law and order professionally.
In many Western countries, people spend years struggling to obtain permanent residency or citizenship, and sometimes by the time they achieve it, a large part of their lives has already passed. In contrast, many of us in the UAE are able to enjoy a good quality of life while we are still young. We work, build businesses, support our families, travel, and live comfortably.
Alhamdulillah, since I came to the UAE, Allah has blessed me with opportunities, work, business, and a stable life. My family can visit, we can travel freely, and we live without major worries.
This is my personal opinion based on my own experiences and observations.
May Allah protect the UAE, including Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and all the other Emirates. May He bless their leaders, their people, their businesses, and their livelihoods with peace, prosperity, and success.
