Be still my beating heart! We could not keep our excitement down the minute this gorgeous combination of mint chevron and stripes was finished. It's the latest of our quilted mermaid tail patterns.Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful?

In panic mode! Our quilted mermaid tails are swimming away faster than we anticipated. We are running dangerously low on stocks and we're only still in November! If you haven't put in your orders yet, better get in early. We predict sleepless nights ahead and sewing machines humming nonstop.

Helloo! The Dubai heatwave has kept us quiet and mostly indoors but not idle. We're taking advantage of the summer lull to think up of new fabric design combinations and replenish our stocks. Presenting Wild Things Dxb mermaid tails chevron chic..ta daa!

One half of the Wild Things Dxb team has just returned from a wintry weekend in Copenhagen. It was so bitterly cold that if the Little Mermaid had thoughts, it would mainly be this. Wouldn't she feel warm and snuggly in one of our quilted mermaid tails, don't you think?

We *ADORE* these mermaid tails and whilst we are both nifty with sticks and strong...we can only imagine how long these beauties would take to complete. Also, we would love them so much we could never let them go!

Mermaid tails are the hottest things this Christmas? They are definitely our best sellers!

Our order books will closing for the holidays whilst we give our machines some well-earned rest. We have around a dozen or so tails left...get in quick before they're all gone!

We never thought the day would come where we'd be prepared to ditch our favourite winter all-in-ones, but the onesie's OFFICIALLY had it's day.

Remember that pile of gorgeous soft flannel we bought in Los Angeles? We loved it so much that it was heads we keep, tails we use. Tails won. We now have new quilted mermaid tails lined in the softest flannel and the results are just ever sooo fabulous!

We are blessed with a gloriously beautiful day for today's event. We are at the BERTIN On The Yard - Festive Edition. Come and enjoy BERTIN's famous cakes and brunch whilst browsing a fab selection of vendors.

This is our last event of the year before we enjoy the holidays...and head back into the craft cave for some serious making and creating.

When you send us pics like this from a satisfied mum of her two adorable mermaids snuggling down in their quilted tails.
Things we like..
We sold out of our quilted tails in November.
Things we don't like..
Disappointing mums and dads and keeping everyone waiting for new stock.
Thankfully we have managed to finish more quilted tails in time to fill in xmas orders and have limited stock on our table at Ripe Market Zabeel Park this Friday 11 Dec. We hope to see you there before the tails all swim away to new homes.

It's been a dizzifyingly busy month for the Wild Things DXB ladies. We've been burning the midnight oil producing tails and we've both been travelling a lot too. Sitting down to a midnight cuppa and catching up on our pile of unread mags we were delighted to see our little brand featured in Novembers Good magazine. Thank you for the kind words X
