This is the first prototype of the Celine Sleeveless Cropped top on White with Tangerine sides. Bottoms is Suzanne High-waist Bottoms with Bow. However the colour in the picture never made it to the collection and the fabric is actually different.

Why should you be excited about wearing a rashguard? ☀️

One of our awesome clients sent us a picture from her holiday wearing Naturalista Swimwear! 💜

Yes, she is not a big water sports person, yet she was super excited about wearing a rashguard for her holiday! 🌊

Here is some reasons why you should be excited about wearing a rashguard too!

1. Reduced sun exposure. We all know sun in excess is bad for our skin, so if you are planning a trip where you might spend too many hours under the sun the best option is to wear long sleeve rashguard like this one which has UPF 50+.

2. Skin hypersensitivity. Many people over the course of their lifetime might develop permanent or temporary hypersensitivity to the sun, meaning they will develop pigmentation or other symptoms if they expose themselves to the sun. For example, if you have undergone underarm laser treatment you should not go under the sun unless you wear a rashguard.

3. Comfort. You just want to be super comfortable. And don’t want to deal with complicated bikinis that are hard to wear and keep in place. For this one I will simply give you a personal story. I have a 6 months old who I take swimming 3 times a week. Most of the time I wear a rashguard because I don’t want her grabbing and pulling a complicated bikini which might just go out of place while I’m holding her. You get the picture!

Less than two weeks from our launch! It was supposed to be tomorrow but we had to delay it slightly for multiple reasons! Good news is everything we needed for final touches I now arriving next week! So July 30th is the date!

Finally, I have sizes that fit me again 💜

Short brand story. In 2022 I decided to start a swimwear brand that was comfortable yet fashionable for people who enjoy doing sports. I was a very active, I used to go diving pretty much every weekend and I wanted to bring something to the market that I felt was missing.

In 2023, I became pregnant with my daughter Amaya and my solo mom journey started. But also this happened exactly at a crucial time: I was solidifying the collection and the fit for all the pieces. I went from being the fitting model to not being able to wear anything as my belly grew.

In late 2023 I got the first full preorder from our initial manufacturer in Bali and even though everything was top-notch quality everything was so small!!! 😭 Luckily with the help of friends and supporters of the brand we got everything sorted right before Amaya was born… but still there was so much work to do.

Sadly, after Amaya was born we started having a lot of issues with our initial manufacturer (this is another story which I will open up at a later time). Honestly, in the first couple of months of 2024, I wanted to quit. The pressure of being a new mom and recovering from an emergency c-section, combined with manufacturers that are not reliable was a lot to handle. But also the cognitive dissonance of not being able to fit on any of the swimsuits after my pregnancy (I gained 16 kilos) even though I was advertising them as inclusive, it was too much.

Luckily I was part of the community 💕Joining their office hours and their biweekly calls helped me to not throw the towel. Now what I saw as a huge setback with manufacturers I see as an opportunity to do things even better.

I haven’t lost the pregnancy weight but I made adjustments in the fabric and the fit and now I finally have samples that fit me again.

Now we are working with different factories and this means that our big launch will be delayed for a few months. However, the website should be up soon to get pre-launch items.
