Cerise Cerise is a brand fusing the authentic Emirati embroidery 'mukhawar' with contemporary designs and trends in Kaftans (jalabiyas).

The obsession started on a lovely Sunday morning, when I had the epiphany while sitting before my closet, admiring its cosmopolitan contents. My eyes quickly zoomed in on that glowing kaftan, and I instantly pulled it out. The kaftan was cut straight and dull but the embroidery on it was handmade,
and just breathtaking. My sister walked in, and simply said, ‘why don’t you give it a modern twist?”

In a brief, we offer kaftans with traditional embroideries and bold colours, but cut in a modern, stylised fashion. Seasonal collections. Each piece is catered personally with the aim to be stylish, feminine, traditional, modern, colorful, and playful. As each piece needs delicately and is exclusively handled personally, we only make one of each, hence that any Cerise wearer will be the unique owner of that design.
