Colour: Tangerine, Coral Pink & Marigold Yellow with striped pallu

This is Nabami evening. Lights, adda, pandal-hopping and many Durga Pujo photos. The tangerine is marigold garlands, the coral is alta, the yellow stripes are fairy lights.
From the wooden hand pulled looms of Murshidabad, West Bengal.

Have paired up with an off white silk blouse that belonged to some other silk saree and a beautiful necklace from Bluefly ..

THE GOLDEN HOUR PURE SILK SAREE

Color: Mustard Gold with Vermillion edge.

Fabric: Pure hand reeled Mulberry Silk.

The Drape: Very fine, soft and feather-light with a natural, fluid fall and a gentle, liquid sheen. Not stiff, not slippery - just flows.

Craftsmanship: Handwoven on traditional wooden pit looms by master weavers. Finished with a distinctive satin border that catches light at every pleat.

Have paired a red silk blouse from my own wardrobe with the saree. Layered with Bluefly necklace.

What is Durga Pujo without a silk saree?

Handwoven in pure 3-ply mulberry silk yarns in the weaving clusters of Bishnupur, West Bengal, these are classic, timeless sarees that don’t follow trends.

Pair them with a blouse of your choice for your favourite minimalist or maximalist look, or keep things subtle and elegant with the matching blouse that comes along with the saree.

And the best part? They are lightweight enough for all that pandal hopping while looking pretty in your silk saree!

The tassels can be added or removed as you please. And yes, we have them in other colours too. 🌼

Remember the Rani pink silk I wore at The Local jam • pop up exhibition • Kolkata 📍 - Uma Edit? With that soft zari border?
You all loved it so much in the DMs after.. :)
So I pulled out 4 silk sarees in the same family for you all - same handwoven softness, same zari detail, just different stories.
