Բացի արհեստի մեջ վարպետանալուց, «Շամշիկի» թիմը իրականացնում է գիտահետազոտական ֆունդամենտալ գործունեություն՝ մասնավորապես ազգային տարազի համալիրների, Հայաստանի պատմական ազգագրական տարածաշրջանների մշակույթի տարբեր շերտերի ուսումնասիություն:
Այս հիմանարար ուսումնասիրություններն օգնում են «Շամշիկի» թիմին կողմնորոշվելու հիմնական նպատակի իրականացման համար ճիշտ մոտեցումներ գտնելու համար:
«Շամշիկի» գլխավոր նպատակն է՝ «Հայոց ազգային հագուստի համադրումը ժամանակակից հագուստի հետ»:
«Շամշիկում» համադրել՝ նշանակում է զարդանախշի, խորհրդանիշների և գույնների, զարդերի ճիշտ օգտագործում, նշանակության և հավատալիքի ներդաշնակ փոխանցում հագուստին... Ազգային հագուստը ձևածքների, գույնների և գծապատկերների զուտ համադրում չէ, այլև դրանց մեջ ապրող ժողովրդկան մտքի, ավանդույթի շնչավորումն է:

“Shamshik” fashion house has started its activity since 2015.
Its founders are Anna Avetisyan and Hayk Martirosyan.
As a result of creative and productive work of the fashion house for many years a unique handwriting and technical approach has been created.
In addition to mastering the handcraft, Shamshik team carries out fundamental research activity, in particular, the study of national costumes and various layers of culture in the historical ethnographic regions of Armenia.
These fundamental studies help Shamshik team to find the right approach for reaching their main goal.
Shamshik's main goal is to "combine Armenian national clothes with the modern ones."
In "Shamshik" combining means the correct usage of ornaments, symbols and colors, jewelry, harmonious transfer of meaning and belief to clothes ... National costumes are not just a combination of patterns, colors and charts, but also the breath of the folk thoughts and traditions living in them.
With each seam, the tailors of the fashion house embody the magical spirit of the national culture in their clothes.
