That's how Valisoa's first book was born. A burnout. A three-year-old's question. And a woman who decided that the most lasting thing she could give her son wasn't a house, or land, but words.
She went on to publish the first board book ever printed in Madagascar. It became a bestseller. And she's still writing.

J'étais endormie quand mon bébé est né. Césarienne d'urgence. Sous anesthésie générale. J'ai tout manqué.
Quand je suis rentrée chez moi, on m'a encore demandé pourquoi je n'avais pas bien poussé.
