Meet Logan Adams.

Three years ago, Logan Adams started running looking for a new challenge. What he found was a love for the mental side of endurance, pushing limits and discovering what the body is capable of.

Since then, he’s run 10km every day for 100 days, completed five marathons in five days for Endometriosis Australia, run 114km around a track for Movember, completed six official marathons and competed in Red Bull Race The Sun in both 2025 and 2026.

But lately, Logan has been doing marathons a little differently.

He lets his audience decide where he runs them.

Sunshine Coast Plaza.
Bunnings.
IKEA.
Kenilworth Bakery.

All 42.2km.

Next up, LUMA Run for Gelato.

Three years into running and Logan is only getting started.

This episode was filmed live Jetty 2 Jetty with you host Eugene D'Hagé-Craig.

Ryan Richards and Chloe Darby from United Airlines on why a global airline is backing a local running festival...

It’s not about the logo. It’s not about the brand visibility. It’s about belief.

United Airlines sees what’s happening in South East Queendland. They see a community that shows up for each other. They see runners of all speeds, all ages, all backgrounds crossing finish lines together. They see the United Airlines Jetty 2 Jetty Marathon as more than a race.

It’s a movement.

And that’s worth sponsoring.

Ryan talks about the similarities between Australia and the United States. About what makes the Moreton Bay region special. About Moreton Bay Bugs and golden sunsets and a community that reminds you why you fell in love with running in the first place.

But more than that, he talks about partnership. About a global company choosing to invest in local runners. About United Airlines understanding that the real magic isn’t in the finish time.

It’s in the people.

It’s in the mate who pushes you when you’re struggling. It’s in the stranger who becomes your friend at kilometre 35. It’s in the family waiting at the finish line, tears streaming down their faces because they watched you do something you didn’t think was possible.

That’s what United Airlines is backing.

Not a race. A community. A belief that every person has an athlete inside them.

You don’t have to start with running.
You don’t have to start in a gym.
You don’t have to be fit enough, strong enough or confident enough.

Just find something you love.

Dance. Walk. Swim. Run. Lift. Move.

Start there.

Because when you find movement you love, something changes.

You find energy.
You find confidence.
You find strength.

And somewhere along the way…

you might just find a little more love for life itself.

Angie from the The Active Sisters joins us this week on the pod, live from Jetty 2 Jetty and shares the key blueprint to motivation.

I didn’t start moving because I was fit.

I started moving because I was struggling.

Physically. Mentally. I’d been through years of health issues, chronic fatigue and endometriosis, and I’d reached a point where I barely recognised myself.

I tried the gym.

I tried doing what I thought I was supposed to do.

And I hated it.

Then I found aerobics.

I loved dancing, so for the first time, movement didn’t feel like punishment.

It felt like freedom.

So I started there.

A little movement became more movement.

I got stronger.

I felt happier.

My confidence started coming back.

That one decision led to a career, a community, and eventually a love of running she never expected.

Start simple. Start with what you love.

On this episode of Sweat Equity we meet the beautifully vibrant Angie Barth from The Active Sisters

Angie gives us real, practical insights to dealing with stress, motivation and just getting started on your journey.

This one on one conversation with Eugene D'Hagé-Craig is one for the records.

BZ from Moreton Bay Road Runners on the thing nobody wants to hear.

You don’t need to know what you’re achieving to make it count.

A distance is a distance. A finish line is a finish line. An achievement is an achievement.

Stop waiting for permission.

Stop waiting for the big goal.

Stop waiting for someone else to tell you it matters.

Because here’s the truth: the hardest person to give yourself credit is yourself.

We’re brilliant at cheering on our mates.

Telling them their 5km counts.

That showing up is enough.

That progress is progress.

But when it comes to our own run?

We discount it. We minimise it.

We convince ourselves it doesn’t mean anything because it wasn’t hard enough, fast enough, or impressive enough.

BZ’s message is simple.

Take your own medicine.

Give yourself the same grace you give everyone else.

And if you’re still not convinced?

Start with 30 minutes. Just 30 minutes allocated to yourself. Not a training plan. Not a race entry. Not new gear. Just time that belongs to you.

That’s where it starts.

Germany. Switzerland. Austria. Italy.

12,000m of climbing. 7 days.

This is what backing yourself actually looks like.

Transalpine Run finisher. 2x Guzzler 50km Ultra. Noosa 50km Ultra. Gold Coast Marathon 2025.

A man who keeps showing up, keeps backing himself, and keeps proving that the hardest part of any challenge isn’t the distance.

It’s the decision to start.

Tom Marsh is the owner of Brokr. North Lakes and the naming partner of our half marathon.

And he is one of the most quietly remarkable people we have ever had the privilege of sitting down with.
