Most workplaces have a version of the same problem.
People are struggling, and nobody’s saying it out loud.
Not because they don’t trust their team. Because nobody’s gone first.
That’s the whole thing. Someone has to say the unglamorous, slightly awkward sentence that gives everyone else permission.
A manager admitting they’re stretched.
A colleague saying they’ve had a rough month. It doesn’t have to be a program or a policy or a wellbeing initiative with a budget line.
It just has to be said in the light, instead of carried in the dark.
Who’s going first in your workplace?
