It is with sadness and a heavy heart that we share we lost our little lady this week 💔
“Yodette - YoYo - Yodles” our little 🍑
🐈 She was my first sphynx (and pet) and was the one who inspired me to start this little hobby of making jumpers for you all.
📸 She was not a fan of the camera or posing - which is why you see Gumboots in most our shoots.
🌸 She was so sweet and kind. She loved sniffing plants and flowers - chasing sunshine and long snuggles on the couch.
🍦 She could smell ice cream from a mile away and was there waiting for her share every time.
🩷 She made It to 12 years old, shared so many memories and also saw my two children come into the world - a great innings for any cat.
🏠 Our house, and our hearts feel just a little empty. I keep walking around the house and expect to see her pop out, or look for her in her usual spots - only to remember, she is no longer with us.
We have known for a while that she was unwell and have just been seeing how long until it was her time. The kids even held a ‘wedding ceremony renewal’ for Yo and Gumbo not long ago (see photos).
Regardless of anticipating and feeling prepared for her passing - its hurts none the less.
So many in our beautiful community have shared their losses and gains and we have felt so connected with you all and privileged to share your journey- it’s now time to share ours.
Rest in peace in the sunshine sweet girl - you are never far from our thoughts and we will love you forever ❤️ ☀️
