A highlight in my little town! If you’re ever passing through Holbrook, perhaps you’re cruising on the Hume Hwy Sydney - Melbourne treat your self and take a peak in the Egg shop! Not only do they have the best Eggs 🍳(free range and only 40 hens per hectare!) but they have a wonderful range of curated goodies to browse and lots to offer for the bird lovers too! You might even spot some of our merch in there too 👀 it feels so good to shop local and support small rural communities and family run businesses 🧡

'wow you have a lot of weeds in your yard' 🌱🌾 'Thanks! It's for them 🥰 we've been slowly chipping away at the yard planting some natives and creating habitat for insects and pollinators which in turn feed the birds. While the rest of our neighbourhood has perfect lawns and have rounded up their weeds these guys come daily to enjoy the spoils of our yard. The goal is to eventually replace the Kikuyu grass (pls send thoughts and prayers) and have a full native habitat garden complete with native grasses and plants. We contend with an alpine climate so it is certainly challenging! However we're excited to transform this once Barron lawnscape to a space that is teaming with biodiversity. Our feathered visitors will appreciate it for sure!
