Half way there middle block quilted

Not a good start to my quilting tried to use my largest magnetic hoop, not a brother one & it moved twice in first hooping. So now I am unpicking & will use my brother 10” magnetic hoop which I know will handle the weight of this quilt but that means 77 hooping instead of 44. This is gona take me all week maybe longer.

Under my needle this week is to quilt now I have finally completed the 4 corners.

Under my needle this morning was a little repair job. Just before we packed up to move back to Newy my cute little Coco who loves to chew decided to redesign my quilt with some chew holes. Today I fixed them. Lucky she has grown out of the chewing stage

All prepped, now ready to stitch into place

Top pressed & Borders stitch on , & design sketched on, had to fudge it a bit to fit but that’s ok. Fabrics marked ready for me to sit & stitch. Hope I remember how to do needle turn appliqué stitch & my hands don’t shake too much.

With my oh sew delightful quilt finished time to pick another to finish. Found this quilt called by Sue Daley, that I started about 10 years ago. I used this as an example of an Australia Designer, needle turned appliqué & fussy cutting. To my delight I have finished all the blocks & stitched them together, completed the side borders except for the 4 mitred corners & the appliqué that goes on the corners . So looks like this is my next quilt to be finished. The quilt top needs a good press before I stitch the borders on. Looking forward to finishing this pretty quilt.
