Another unfinished project finished Cassie’s Quilt by Sue Daley. Started this quilt back in 2014. It features paper pieced Applique, fussy cutting fabric patterns, hand stitching Appliques, edge to edge machine quilting, backing binding & mitred corners.

It’s been a busy few weeks with grandparent duties& I finally found time to get into the studio & finish . Did a binding using the backing fabric with mitred corners. So happy this is finished.

Not a good start to my quilting tried to use my largest magnetic hoop, not a brother one & it moved twice in first hooping. So now I am unpicking & will use my brother 10” magnetic hoop which I know will handle the weight of this quilt but that means 77 hooping instead of 44. This is gona take me all week maybe longer.

Under my needle this week is to quilt now I have finally completed the 4 corners.

Under my needle this morning was a little repair job. Just before we packed up to move back to Newy my cute little Coco who loves to chew decided to redesign my quilt with some chew holes. Today I fixed them. Lucky she has grown out of the chewing stage
