They say that mum brain affects women who are pregnant and in the postpartum period.

To some people, this seems a joke but scientifically, women’s brain really does change during pregnancy and after giving birth.

They say that the mother’s brain adjusts in such a way that the grey matter decreases in some regions of the brain to specialize on parts of the brain that are in charge of the development of maternal skills to become a better caregiver to your baby.

So, if you are experiencing mum brain, don’t feel bad because it is your body’s natural way of making yourself a better mum.
