Second to my sewing machine my iron is my greatest tool I use it on pretty much all of my sewing projects.

Time for the old to be replaced. Seems I’m drawn to the same one again haha
Or maybe that the old one has lasted 20 odd years….I got her when I moved out of home 🥹

It’s been 10 days since the “Wear Share Repeat”market where Skye Simpson and I answered many questions and took plenty of items for tweaking.
This was how my sewing room looked the day after….

Since then my family and I have been to Dunsborough and back for a wedding spending some quality time with loved ones.

I’m back in the sewing room tomorrow getting through the last of the bits from the market 🤎

Quite a few new faces on here.

Get to know me

I am a mum of a 2 son who’s 5 and a daughter who’s days away from 8. They will rule the world on day.

I’m a FIFO wife 8:6 (days)

We have 10acres in Denmark. With a border collie, 6 chickens and 17 sheep, veggie patch and the beginnings of an orchard.

Everything I know about sewing has been taught to me by my Mum or self taught along the way (with mums guidance).

I love giving people the opportunity to add back into circulation old favs that may have been sitting in a pile in the back of the closet for months because they needed a little TLC.

Let me help refresh those favourites xx

Had a special visitor in my sewing room recently. The lady who taught me almost everything I know.
She brought the machine with her that I learnt to sew on as a kid (it weighs a ton haha)

This project is challenging me on every level.

I was asked if I could copy a dress. Not just any dress, it’s sentimental. Of course I said yes.

It’s a very much trust the process type of project.

I hope I can do her justice 🫶🏼

I'm embracing a creative challenge….

My 7 1/2-year-old has given me a special task: to bring a friends Moana themed party to life.
I'm ready to tap into my patience and resourcefulness to make it happen.

Please bear with me if you're waiting on a job - this project is my top priority for the next few days.
