Original 1996 Tasmanian Touring Rally badge, issued by the Sapphire Coast Historical Vehicle Club, Pambula, NSW, as part of that club's member rally of the apple isle - $60.00

Budget Motel Chain sponsored and branded. Measures approx. 7 cm in diameter.

This circular badge features a bright yellow centre with raised “1996 Tasmanian Touring Rally” lettering and central Budget Motel Chain sponsor emblem, surrounded by a dark enamel outer ring reading “Sapphire Coast Historic Vehicle Club – Pambula NSW.”

Measures approximately 7 cm across, suitable for vehicle grille mounting or display.

WOW! RARE VINTAGE AUSTRALIAN HONEY BEEKEEPING MELTER - $200.00

Fantastic vintage Pender Brothers Australian honey capping melter, C. 1940s?

Made by the well-known West Maitland Pender Brothers beekeeping suppliers, who started off in the 1890s and are still going strong today.

Made of galvanised tin. Features the original paint and stencilling as well as the tap, but the internal workings appear to be missing. Dates, I believe, to around the 1940s.

Measures approximately 410 mm (h) x 350 mm (diameter).

For those non-apiarists out there (like me), “cappings” are the scrapings of wax that are removed from the hive frame during the honey extraction process. Rich in pollen, it can be eaten like normal honey.

A fantastic and rare piece of rural Australian history.

SHABBY BUT CHIC ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU STYLE BENTWOOD ROCKING CHAIR - $200.00

Beautiful antique Bentwood rocking chair.

Seat and back upholstered in a damask style fabric. Believed to date from about the late 19th / early 20th century, with definite Art Nouveau influence. In very good condition, ready to rock, with just some very minor damage to the end of one of the rockers (see pic), which doesn't effect its usability at all.

AMAZING OLD MANUAL TYPEWRITER - $100.

Outstanding vintage 1937 / 38 Royal KHM typewriter with cover. Made in New York, USA.

Some chipping and wear to the paint and chrome has some light oxidisation / rust. Incredibly solid and heavy. Not sure whether it’s in working condition, but definitely needs a good clean up and some TLC.

Measures approximately 240 mm (h) x 440 mm (w) x 410 cm (d). Dimensions are approximate only, because I couldn’t lift it up to measure in properly. It weighs a lot, so make sure you’ve got muscles to lift it at pick up! Very heavy, so definitely no postage.

FABULOUS 142 YEAR OLD HARD COVER BOOK - $70.00

Amazing antique book, “The Leisure Hour – A Family Journal of Instruction and Recreation", dating from 1881. Hard cover, bound periodical book, 764 pp. Published 56, Paternoster Row, and 164, Piccadilly, London, in 1881. Decorative burgundy and black cover with gilt lettering. Contains an assortment of fiction and non-fiction stories, poetry, music, etc, and generously illustrated with full colour plates, black and white etchings and plates throughout.

For a book that is 142 years old, it is in great condition. Binding and spine are solid. Boards have some wear to edges and surface rubbing. Pages show some foxing and light discolouration throughout, with a small number of pages dog eared, and the occasional partial page tear. A couple of pages also show mat burning. I don’t believe there are any pages missing, but I have not done a complete, page-by-page inspection.

BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL ANTIQUE COACH / CARRIAGE LIGHTS - $300.00

Beautiful sought after pair of original Victorian era 1800s brass and glass Raydyot horse drawn coach / carriage lanterns, still with candles in the holders. As made and never converted to electricity. Clear bevelled glass to front (oval shaped) and side (rectangular - one pane cracked); red glass to back hinged panel. Interior accessed through the hinged back panel to light / s***f / change the candle. Hinges and latches in good working order. Made in England. Patent No. 128127.

Some chipping to black paintwork, dents to metalwork, surface tarnishing, etc. Also in need of a good clean. Untested so working condition unknown.

SOLD - BEAUTIFUL TRIO OF DIFFERENT COLLECTIBLE COBALT BLUE GLASS BOTTLES - STUNNING LITTLE LOT FOR A DISPLAY WITH A DIFFERENCE - $30.00

The castor oil to the left is machine made with a screw top, and dates from about the 1950. Faint makers mark embossed to base - possible Australian Glass Manufacturers (AGM). No chips or cracks, and a lovely glossy piece, just a but of dirt still inside from being buried.
