Let’s talk about a true superhero 🦸adamm is just 18 months old but since birth a lot has been going on for him. He had to be resuscitated at birth because he had fluid in his lungs. Spent 3 days in special care nursery. His mum didn’t get to even cuddle him till day three 😢
Then nearly 3 months later he was in hospital again with RSV and bronchiolitis, and had the nasogastric tube put in and was there for another 10 days. BUT this brave little man did a great job recovering from it 💪
He goes through a lot and in the end of the day he is still smiling and making friends 🤗
Just show how resilient this little man is, and how determined he is to be happy. What a great example of bravery 🥹❤️

Understanding this was a game changer for me. Children often don’t articulate their feelings directly, especially after a tough day. Instead, they seek comfort and connection through play. When you take the time to engage with them in their world of imagination and fun, it opens a door for them to feel safe and understood. They might not say what’s bothering them right away, but through the simple act of playing together, they can start to relax and may eventually share their thoughts and feelings. It’s in these moments of play that genuine connections are built, and children find the comfort and reassurance they need.
