Self Care Tips for Expecting Mums! 🤰🏼

Firstly Congratulations!!! This is such a beautiful time of your life and we are so excited for you! 💛

Pregnancy is a marathon and with that comes a many aches, nausea, emotions and discomfort along the way. It is so important to look after yourself so from one mum to another, here are a few self care tips we have for you:

✨ Getting enough rest and sleep (I know this can be very difficult, especially if you have other children in tow)
✨ Eating a healthy and balanced diet (not all carbs! even though these are probably the only thing you can stand to eat!)
✨ Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water
✨ Engaging in gentle exercise or prenatal yoga.
✨ Taking time to relax and reduce stress through activities such as meditation or taking a warm bath.
✨ Connecting with other expecting mums for support.
✨ Prioritising regular prenatal check-ups

Please tell me I’m not the only one…

Motherhood can be so conflicting at times!

Bedtime is a whirlwind in our house...consisting of a checklist of teeth brushing, toileting, bedtime stories (yes multiple!) and why must they always request a drink of water when you are just about to turn the lights off! We are just waiting for that time to have a moment together to relax and unwind (with a cup of tea in hand) About 10 minutes into freedom, I find myself scrolling through photos on my phone (giggling and reminiscing)...missing them already!

Is anyone else guilty of this? 🙋🏼‍♀️
