August, you were a good one 🤎
Markets, road trips, sewing, muddy adventures, beautiful views and plenty of creating along the way.

It’s been a month of busy hands, full days and little moments that remind me why I love what I do.

So, here’s the official crochet report from our road trip:

🧶 The blanket I’ve been crocheting in the car? Nearly finished! 🙌

🧶 Custom order? About 10 rows done… not quite as much as I’d hoped 😂

🧶 The bag of “extra projects” I packed just in case? Didn’t even touch it. 🤣

Because apparently I thought travelling meant I’d have endless crochet time.
Between driving, exploring, setting up camp, weather, life and everything in between… turns out I was a little optimistic!

But hey — progress is progress, and that blanket is SO close now. 🥰

Anyone else pack way more craft projects than they could possibly finish? 😂🧶

The part of the road trip nobody puts on Instagram… 😅

The drive home.
The mountain of washing.
The muddy shoes that somehow brought half of Mundi Mundi home with us. 😂

The adventure might be over, but apparently the clean-up has only just begun!

Would I do it all again?
Absolutely. ❤️

Because the muddy shoes, dirty washing and long drive home are just part of the beautiful memories we make along the way. 🚐✨

After the wind, rain and plenty of mud, the weather finally cleared and it was time to enjoy the Mundi Mundi Bash! 🎶

Three days of music, gorgeous sunsets, the Mundi undi race and plenty of good times.

Okay… we were still sloshing through the mud 😂 but honestly, it just added to the adventure!

From muddy mornings to sunset evenings — this is what road-tripping and chasing experiences is all about. ❤️🚐

Our first few days brought plenty of wind, rain and very muddy conditions… but that’s all part of the adventure, right?

From battling the weather to making the most of caravan life, we’re taking it all in our stride. 💕🚐

Because sometimes the best adventures aren’t the ones that go exactly to plan. ✨

Up in the middle of the night, rolling in the awning and packing the tents back down before the wind really arrived. 😴💨

But now we’re staying warm and dry in the caravan… so what else is there to do?
Crochet, of course. 🧶☕️

The beauty of handmade is that I can take my creativity wherever the road takes me — even when the weather has other plans.
A little crochet, a cosy caravan and waiting for the Mundi Mundi weather to pass. ❤️

Life doesn’t always take us where we planned, but beautiful things can still come from the journey.

Day 2: The journey doesn’t always go to plan… 🌧️🚐

Another day on the road to the Mundi Mundi Bash.

More kilometres, little country towns and a few unexpected stops along the way — including hunting down some wet-weather gear because the forecast is looking VERY questionable! 😂🌧️

But that’s the beauty of road trips… you never quite know what’s around the next corner.

Just taking it one stop, one stitch and one adventure at a time. 🧶🚐✨
