A weekend at The Design Exchange Market in Ballarat ✨

I had a great time selling my wares in this beautiful environment of designers and full time makers. It was my first time vending fully on my own (usually I share a space with friends) - I had a great experience presenting my work and connecting with people through my craft.

Thankyou to all who stopped by responding with interest, admiration, wonder and curiosity. My work is niche and I love the crowd it draws in.

And thankyou to all who left with a piece of their own! Supporting artists directly through sales is how you keep us going!

My biggest observation from this weekend is that style knows no age. An older demographic with a lot of boomers wondered through of which many had a refined sense of style. Spunky, alternative, classy. Sophisticated, unique personality. It was wonderful to see and left me with a sense of gratitude for personal expression.

27 handcrafted pieces brought to life through a lot of (we could say endless) committed studio time, sculpting and forging, late nights & early mornings thinking & tinkering these last 3,4,5 months will be released in my new collection ::: Venus in Scorpio :::

Some of my absolute favourite pieces that found their homes at 🙏🏽✨

My new collection, “Venus in Scorpio” will be available soon online. I put a lot of thought into this one and made moulds of most of my pieces so this time, I will have both ongoing stock items and one of a kind pieces. So excited to share it with you!

Some 📸 from a huge weekend of vending at the goblin bazaar. Entering those gates was like stepping into another world, one full of fantasy and magic.

It was so fun being a part of this fair as a merchant selling our handmade wares. .alchemy and I shared a stall and presented our collections side by side. I felt like our jewels came alive, their value truly seen and appreciated. All the “oohs, aahs” and little screams really did it for me.

It was only my second time selling at a market and this experience opened doors for me. Thankyou to everyone to visited our little corner of shiny treasure. For your curiosity and smiles and generosity. So many pieces found their homes - I’m so extremely grateful for every sale.
