When we play and have fun, we learn! Learning really is made enjoyable through these packs, and the way everything we need is ready to go is such a time and energy saver. Plus they're flexible enough to add things we have at home e.g. dinosaurs if we want is great.

Did you notice the skills Miss 5 was building when she extended the cow mask into drawing the body too? I see so much line work involved in that drawing, such a building block to writing without even thinking about it. Not to mention the chats we had about differences and similarities between farm animals, cows, humans...it really opened up so many discussions 💕

The brief: "BUGS". I'd say the kid that made that green slime NAILED IT.

I love seeing the kids (and their parents) explore all sorts of textures and also how team work, encouragement and fun always comes out at parties 💕 Always such an honour being part of someone's special day and meeting the beautiful families who work so hard to create these amazing memories for the children.

Each child's slime was different....we had super stretchy, super smooth,crunch city, ones with more bugs than slime and others that were works of art within themselves. Imagination and play really are magic ✨️

I also attended a session (without realising the two were connected when booking) and it was so so informative. Such an incredible support service to our local community. Definitely worth checking out.

Learning through play was how Our Magical Play began. Since our second came along its been hard to find pockets of time to do all the things we used to do.
Then we found .bigschool and we had those special 1:1 times together again.

Not only that but the learning and fun we have had along the way this month has been wonderful. The skills she is working on to prep her for school next year, the amazing products we have to use and reuse over and over, and the pressure it's taken off me makes these packs so worth it. They are jam packed full of fun activities I couldn't fit them all on one post!

They really are well thought out, packed into weekly activities that are easy to just unpack or mix and match as your child pleases.

The truth is, sensory play is all around us. You don't need a fancy potion kit or paint or any other stuff we are sold. All you need is something they can explore with their senses.
Does our potion kits make it easier to have sensory play? Absolutely. And lots of fun. But a park and a walk in the rain absolutely has its place in all this too 💕

"Never a bad weather day, just bad clothing choices"....well, that lived true. You can kinda see where I forgot Mr 1s shoes and he had to wear Miss 5s socks instead 😳🙈😅 mum life is pivoting when these challenges are thrown at us ha!
