Teja started as voice notes between two long-distance best friends, both working full-time in finance… aka crying over spreadsheets by day and dreaming about fabric samples by night.

Between back-to-back meetings, stress, and market volatility, we kept asking ourselves one question: why does “luxury” always have to mean “there goes my savings account”?

We believe you deserve both the outfit and the investment portfolio. You should be able to look expensive, feel confident, and still transfer money into your savings after checkout. That’s the energy behind Teja, affordable luxury for girls who want financial independence, not financial regret.

Building this hasn’t been cute and aesthetic 24/7. We’ve flown to China running on three hours of sleep, walked through factories not knowing if we were being overcharged, and dealt with more than a few “shady supplier” moments where people clearly thought two young girls wouldn’t know better.
