Many of you know me as a very passionate person who will always advocate for people being discriminated, disadvantaged and/or in any way shape or form experience inequality. I have found myself becoming more frustrated with the world we live in (e.g. news, genocides, capitalism, sexism, etc.) and my advocacy has become affected by a feeling of desperation, anger and sadness for a lot of matters I find important. It is time a take a tiny short break from socials to recenter and ensure I can remain as fierce and vocal on matters that are close to my heart. This does not mean I stop advocating (you can’t stop me), it just means I will refuel to ensure I can advocate effectively and with continued ferociousness. I will always encourage people to take a break and take care of their mental health so they can be the best version of themselves. So if this feels true to you, please know that it is not a failing, it’s is only a way to take care of yourself in order to remain “you”. We want to raise our children to know mental health is top priority, so it feels important for me to show my kids that at this point in my life.
I will be back, because I love the community I have built here. The strong connections and a sense of belonging to a group of incredible fierce & vocal women who I adore completely, can’t keep me away forever.

Happy international women’s day to all of you who keep standing up and speaking up! Feminism is not about a specific race or group of women, feminism and celebrating each other is about all females in the world. Feminism is about respecting each other and standing up for equality and for what is (a human) right.
So to all my fellow amazing badasses, you’re the t**s and I’m continuously amazed and impressed by you! I’m so grateful I have you all in my life. ILY
