Lately, I've found myself craving quiet moments more than ever.
Not scrolling. Not working. Not planning the next thing.
Just sitting somewhere in nature and staring at the horizon.
As women moving through peri-menopause and menopause, there is so much changing within us. Some days can feel overwhelming. Our bodies speak a different language. Our emotions rise unexpectedly. The pace that once felt natural no longer fits.
I've discovered that when I give myself permission to simply sit and watch the ocean, the trees, the clouds drifting by, something softens. Nature doesn't ask me to be productive. It doesn't ask me to have all the answers. It simply reminds me that change is natural.
The tides change. The seasons change. The landscape is constantly transforming, yet it remains beautiful.
Maybe we are being asked to do the same.
To slow down. To listen. To trust the woman we are becoming.
Sometimes a few quiet moments with the horizon can feel more healing than a hundred attempts to push through.
And perhaps that's not a luxury at this stage of life.
Perhaps it's medicine.
Does that inspire you?
