I'm Alex, the designer and founder of Prince + Pauper.

All our sandals are leather and are hand embellished with new and recycled materials. Our vision is to utilise as many recycled materials as possible in the making of our product, and we are continually looking for more ways to do this.

I grew up in Zimbabwe and draw inspiration from the ‘making do’ culture in Africa, where nothing is wast

ed and everyday junk is transformed into beautiful objects.
