Sword & Spirit Athletics

Sword & Spirit Athletics Sword & Spirit is a Christian clothing brand inspired by Ephesians 6:11. More than clothing. A declaration of who we belong to.

Our apparel reflects the spiritual armour of God — a visible reminder to walk in truth, faith, and obedience to Christ.

Most Christians read “your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit” and stop at:
Don’t sleep around.
Don’t drink too much.
Take care of your body.

But Paul is pointing to something infinitely deeper.

In Scripture, the temple wasn’t just a building. So what did it represent?

So what does it mean that through Christ, God no longer dwells in temples made by human hands… but within His people?

What does it actually mean to carry the Spirit of God?
How should this reshape the way we think, speak, train, live, and walk through the world?

This is one of the most misunderstood realities in Christianity.

So we’re going deeper.

Starting with one question:
What was the temple meant to represent in Scripture?

“...you are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body...” — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

Pressure reveals where you’re positioned.

If you’re seated with Christ, you don’t have to panic when life gets heavy.
You don’t have to bow to every thought, temptation, emotion, or opinion.

Guard your mind.
Discipline your body.
Watch your words.
Stay at rest.

Because a man seated with Christ moves differently. 🔥

There’s power in where Christ is seated.

Ephesians 1:19–21 - He’s at the right hand of God. Far above all rule, all authority, all power, all dominion.

That’s not symbolic language - that’s position. That’s government. That’s absolute authority.

And here’s the shift - that’s the place we’re brought into with Him.

Not beneath sin.
Not under fear.
Not owned by the enemy.

Seated with Christ means sin has no dominion, fear has no authority, and the enemy has no claim.

So why do we still fight like we’re trying to win?

Colossians 2:15 - He already disarmed the powers. He already made a public spectacle of them. He already won.

Which means spiritual warfare isn’t fighting for victory… it’s standing from it.

No more reactive living.
No more fear-driven striving.
Now we stand - grounded, unmoved.
We resist - without panic.
We speak truth - without negotiating with lies.

This changes everything.

You’re not under it.
You’re seated above it.

So stop fighting like it’s undecided - and start living like it’s already finished.

There’s weight to the word “seated” in Scripture.

Hebrews 10:12 - Jesus sat down.
Not because He was tired…
But because it was finished.

The work—done.
Sin—paid for.
Access—granted.

Nothing left to prove. Nothing left to add.
And here’s where it hits - by grace, we’re brought into that reality.

Colossians 3:3 - our life is now hidden with Christ in God, Covered in Him, Positioned in Him.

So where He is… we are.
Seated. Accepted. Secure.
What He accomplished… counts for us.
What He finished… speaks for us.

And how the Father sees Him - righteous, holy, fully pleasing - that’s how He sees us in Christ.

That revelation will shift everything.

The way you think.
The way you speak.
The way you carry yourself.

You stop striving for approval - and start moving from it. You stop living like it’s unfinished - and start walking like it’s already done.

This is identity.
This is position.
This is the finished work.

Step into it. Walk in it. Live from it.

This is how we live at Sword & Spirit.

Forgiven & Redeemed isn’t a feeling - it’s a new identity.

We don’t run from God when we fall - we return immediately (1 John 1:9).
We don’t entertain accusation - we shut it down and stand on truth (Revelation 12:10).
We don’t carry our past - we drop it. It’s gone (Psalm 103:12).
We don’t withhold forgiveness - we release it, because we’ve been released (Ephesians 4:32).

No agreement with shame.
No agreement with lies.
No going back to what God already broke us free from.

This is discipline. This is identity. This is spiritual warfare.

Stand firm. Walk clean. Stay close.

If you’re walking this out - comment “Amen”, follow us, share these videos, and pass it on to someone who needs it.

Walking out redemption isn’t just something we believe… it’s something we live.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us…” (1 John 1:9)
We don’t run from God when we fall—we run straight back to Him. Quickly. Honestly. No hiding, no distance.

“The accuser… has been thrown down…” (Revelation 12:10)
We don’t partner with accusations anymore. Shame doesn’t get a voice. We stand on God’s Word and who He says we are.

“As far as the east is from the west…” (Psalm 103:12)
Your past isn’t your identity. The old labels—failure, sin, brokenness—they don’t define you anymore. Let them go.

“Be kind… forgiving one another…” (Ephesians 4:32)
Freely forgiven means we freely forgive. We don’t hold onto what God has already released.

This is what it looks like to walk in redemption.
Not perfect—but surrendered. Not distant—but close.

If this is helping you, comment “Amen”, follow us, share these videos, and pass them on to someone who needs it.

Thank you for supporting Sword & Spirit 🤍

Redeemed. Bought at a price.

“You are not your own… you were bought with a price.” (1 Corinthians 6:20)

Everything changes in Christ.
Our ownership shifts. Our authority changes. Our allegiance is no longer to sin—but to Him.

We’ve been pulled out of darkness, out from under the weight that once held us down…
and brought into a new life, a new Kingdom, a new spiritual reality.

“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of His beloved Son.” (Colossians 1:13)

No more chains. No more bo***ge.
You don’t belong to your past anymore.

You belong to Jesus.

Live like it. Walk in it. Stand in it.

The fit speaks for itself.

Clean. Athletic. Purpose-driven.

But this isn’t just how it looks - it’s what it represents.

Truth. Discipline. Identity.

The cross settled it.

You are forgiven.
You are clean.

But are you living like it…
or still carrying what Jesus already paid for?
When you fall, do you run to God - or slip back into shame and striving?

Pause. Reflect.

Then step back into the freedom
that Christ gives you.
