Travel Smarter. Live Deeper
Most people rush through destinations… ticking boxes.

But the real magic happens when you slow down.

When you stay longer, connect with locals, and experience a place beyond the surface—
that’s when travel becomes something more meaningful.

🌏 Most travellers get Vietnam weather completely wrong…

They plan it like one country with one climate. It’s not. It’s three completely different weather systems — and if you don’t know that, you can easily end up travelling in the worst possible conditions.

Up north (Hanoi, Sapa), you’ll actually get four seasons — including a winter that surprises most people.

Down south (Ho Chi Minh, Phu Quoc), it’s tropical — long hot dry days, then sudden downpours that come and go.

And central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoi An)?Beautiful… until the heavy rains roll in later in the year.💡

Once you understand this, everything changes. You stop guessing… and start timing your trip properly.

Hi everyone,
I’ve been spending quite a bit of time living in Da Nang, and one thing I’ve noticed is how many people arrive here thinking it’s simple… and then realise there are a few things that aren’t as straightforward as they expected.
The biggest ones I keep seeing are:
• choosing the wrong area to live
• rushing into an apartment too quickly
• not fully understanding visa options
• and not knowing how daily life actually feels long-term
None of these are major problems — but they can make the first few months harder than they need to be.
After going through this myself (and seeing others do the same), I put together a guide based on real experience to help people settle in more smoothly.
It covers things like:
• where different areas actually feel different day-to-day
• how to approach finding an apartment
• what to expect with visas
• and how to ease into living here rather than just visiting
If you’re thinking about staying longer in Da Nang, it may be helpful.
