At Denise Wright Bridal (DWB), brides are empowered with the ultimate flexibility through the choice of an original custom-made dress or discovering a hidden gem straight off the rack. Having worked for Perth bridal studios J & V Wilsons, Edith Wilsons, Casa Della Sposa, Modern Bride and Donna Tobin Couture as well as working with her own clients, making wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, evenin

g gowns and much more. DWB uses exquisite laces, beautiful silks, luxe satins and sheers, Swarovski crystals and beads and handmade buttons. A couture dress is created 100 percent from scratch—each custom design is patterned and the finest materials are specifically sourced and cut for each bride with several progress fittings, including a calico mock version. Gowns are made in Perth, so you have input at each dress fitting. DWB can also provide your veil and accessories and hoop hire if needed. DWB also stocks and sells off the rack wedding gowns. Sample sizes 8 to 26 currently in stock. The DWB studio is located in Connolly, Western Australia. Connolly is situated in the northern suburbs alongside Joondalup. If you belong in any wedding groups you have probably seen brides post about vendors not getting back to them. Unfortunately, it goes both ways 😔

Brides also ghost vendors after they have signed up. Over the years I have had a handful of brides who have said yes to their dress and signed up, both off the rack and custom made. I invoice them and there is a week to pay the deposit to secure my services and allow me to order fabrics etc. for custom or secure their off the rack dress. If the off the rack dress is in stock, it is taken off the floor or it is ordered in for them.

Just like brides who spend time planning their wedding, I spend time behind the scenes arranging for their gown, so you can imagine how disappointing it is when a bride just ghosts you after confirming their purchase. No communication, just silence, but you see they are active in FB groups, etc.

If you have changed your mind or circumstances have changed, then have the courtesy to let your vendor know. This also goes for those that make an appointment and don’t show up. I appreciate those that do the right thing 💖

DWB’s feature bride tonight is Chontae 💖

Chontae was one of my custom couture brides. She is a truly gorgeous person and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her and her mum at fittings ✨

Chontae’s dress was a flattering A-line with several layers of tulle in the skirt. It also had hand appliqued, lightly beaded lace adorning the bodice, cascading down the skirt and the cutest tulle puff sleeves with lace appliques as well 🥰

Starting with Hannah - what can I say except for wow?! 😍

Hannah’s dress was a stunning emerald green bodice with feature boning and black lace. The skirt was the softness tulle in black 🖤

She totally rocked it and looks just beautiful. It was such a pleasure helping her with the dress 🥰

And BOOM! Another year finished! 👊🏼

It was my last day for 2025 today, but I’ll be back from January 10 2026, all ready to go. I can’t believe it, but next year is my 39th year in business! Not many bridal businesses can say that 😌

I want to thank all the brides that said yes to a DWB dress, whether custom or off the rack - I truly appreciate it 💕
