The process of creating beautiful skin care from fat is amazing image 1 is the raw fat when I receive it I cut it up and slow cook it for a lot of hours to melt the fat and remove any solids . Image 2 is the rendered fat
Once it’s been strained and cooled. Image 3 is the fat on its last wet render this removes any remaining solids and the smell the final stage of rendering can happen up to 10 times once I’m happy that the smell is gone we move onto 3 Dry renders to remove any excess water from the tallow then finally the magic happens!!!!

Trailing a Tallow sunscreen recipe this weekend. I am personally rather allergic to alot of the commercial products and tend to burn worse than if i had nothing on at all so it will be interesting to experiment with the concept!!!!!

Wax food wrap update !!!!!!!
So I have hit a little bit of an issue with my wax wraps
Mainly that due to the wax being organic It was leaving small brown patches on the finished products. You all know that I strive for perfection and even 1 mark on the wraps would not be good enough so I have sat down and got busy learning how to clean the wax ! This takes a fair amount of time so has been happening in the background I’m hoping this week is kinder and I can actually get some product up 😝
