Well, it’s been a minute…
I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, life with a toddler, starting a new job, & jumping back into full time work has been a whole adventure of its own. Somewhere between the chaos, the cuddles, & the coffee, I’ve been doing some serious thinking about where I want Little Tate & Co to go next & now feels like the perfect time to share a little update with you all.
When I first started this small business, it was all about creating personalised baby items; dummy clips, wardrobe organisers, custom onesies & clothing, stickers for any occasion. That part of my business still brings me so much joy, & I’ll continue offering all of these personalised items just as I always have.
Along the way, I branched out into sugar cookies. It was fun, colourful, & such a sweet way to be part of your celebrations. But over time I realised something important: sugar cookies just aren’t where my passion lies. And honestly? There are some insanely talented cookie makers in our region who absolutely slay that space. If you ever need beautiful custom cookies, I’m more than happy to recommend some amazing local bakers.
What is my passion? Baking, especially cheesecakes.
I’ve always had a love for baking… cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, anything sweet. Give me a reason to bake and I’m there. It’s the part of this journey that feels the most “me”.
So, moving forward, I’ll be stepping into what I love most: creating delicious cheesecakes.
I’ll no longer be taking orders for sugar cookies, but I’m more than happy to point you toward some amazing local bakers who specialise in them.
