Progress on the back panel for the patchwork coat of many colours Goddess Dreamcoat.
I have several projects on the go atm and am bouncing between them all as time , motivation and inspiration comes.
And, as always, my beautiful kitty " helper " Lady P is close at hand

When in Paris...( and its your birthday ) in a heatwave you want to look fab, be comfortable and take in the amazing sights and sounds of distant cultures and communities.

A different kind of creative project for me this past week.
Tree mural started for my little Granddaughters bedroom.
Mum and Dad painted the wall and started the tree.
Nanny continuing the idea and planning what's next :)
The tree is a patchwork of 3D bark like vinyl that has been cut, shaped and layed out together to create the lovely tree design. I am currently blending all the joins together with multiple brown paints to make it a cohesive semi realistic looking tree.
The leaves are all painted and I want to fill the foliage out some more at the top.
The air conditioner is set to get a little wooden surround and pitched " roof " , birdhouse style, to look like it is housed in the tree branches..
And that is the plan thus far.
Then it is onto Nannas ideas and imagination to continue, evolve and continue the design.
Having fun with it is a given...
Let's see where the adventure takes us.

Note- never claimed to be a arty artist, lol, though I love to dabble and play with paint and arting...textiles are definitely my bag baby.
