Have wanted to give free motion quilting a go for a while now and finally got the courage to have a crack this week.
First time free motion quilting, basting and using a walking foot. So much to learn and much room for improvement.

First try at an embroidery SL project yesterday - two *on trend* hand sanitiser pouches for the littles to take to school.

Been sewing more for leisure lately and really enjoyed the from .

This pattern has so many options, is quick to sew up and what kid doesn't love a kangaroo pocket?

I made one with long sleeves, straight front hem, neck band and pocket and another with short sleeve, roll neck and straight front hem.

I had the pleasure of being a pattern tester for new pattern . I made the version with square bodice... loved how easy it was to put together - and miss 7 is in love with her new twirly dress 🥰

Haven't been making too many wallets with the festive season upon us, but have been sewing up storm and trying out all the patterns.....two Christmas outfits complete for the kids and I'm already in love with my dress that is currently in progress

Not a wallet this time around, but something I’ve wanted/needed for a while now - reusable produce bags.
They worked really well and as a bonus can be used as wash bags when you get everything home and rinse of the wax/residues etc.
Didn’t feel the need to add drawstrings or ties, but they could easily be added in.

Finally tried the new wallet pattern. Needs some practice - but it’s a great size.
With strap it’s a small bag - without it’s a large wallet.
