Julie and I were recently asked to design and supply workwear for Clarke Automotive. Located in Asquith Sydney, we were asked to design something that is both functional for an automotive workshop and looks sensational. I think we nailed it. Their polos, fleecy sloppy joes and classy sweatshirts with a half zipper are now in production.

Another project for JRS was to design a windbreaker for the Maitland District Cricket umpires. The attached is a concept design pending approval.

Every now and then we get to design items that have a significant meaning to those involved. The story with this design is printed on the shirt and it has been our pleasure to be a part of it's creation.

Julie's been at it again!
She's just scored another 7 pairs of pre-loved denim jeans from our local op shops — and each one will be transformed into a completely ONE OF A KIND messenger bag, handmade by Julie right here in South West Rocks.
These two beauties have already found their new homes locally (see pic!), and the next batch is ready to go soon. Every bag is unique, crafted with great care, and carries its own story.
Want one reserved? PM Julie before they're gone as local op shops are running low on the denim jeans quality that Julie seeks.

Cricket Clubs are now getting their act together with planning for the 26/27 season. Many thanks to Hinton Cricket Club and The Maitland District Cricket Umpires for choosing JR Sportswear as their apparel supplier. The attached "PINK" shirt has been designed by JR Sportswear and will be worn during the PINK STUMPS day games and also during the Associations annual WOMEN IN SPORT day. If any local sports clubs or business's are looking to update their apparel, we'd love an opportunity to be their apparel supplier. We love local!

Julie recently made me my very own personal Messenger Bag and I just love it and so does my MacBook Pro. The good news for locals is that Julie has acquired 10 pairs of pre-loved jeans from her favourite op shop. Her next project will be to convert each pair of pre-loved jeans into a unique messenger bag.

If you'd like Julie to make you your own ONE OF A KIND messenger bag or reserve one of the bags yet to be made, PM Julie.

Each bag takes Julie a day to make (she's a perfectionist) and while she has yet to decide on a bag price, she thinks they will be about $50 each, for locals.

A huge thank you to everyone who made our first Coffee and Tees promotion a huge success! It was so much fun.

Over the June long weekend at Malt & Honey, we had 22 lucky winners who will each receive a Rockswear / Malt & Honey South West Rocks tee shirt. Pictured is Sam from Malt & Honey presenting Phillip Bermingham from South West Rocks with his tee shirt. Phillip is a local and at 6.30am nearly every day, he downs 2 mugs of great coffee at Malt & Honey.

Of our 22 winners, 7 were locals while 15 came from towns across NSW, QLD, and Victoria. We even had one winner, all the way from Germany.

Spending 3 days at Malt & Honey gave Julie and I a new found appreciation of how hard their staff work to make everyone feel welcome - not only to their cafe, but to our beautiful seaside town.

Thank you again to all the locals and visitors who joined us, and a very special thanks to the crew at Malt & Honey for their hospitality and partnership.

This time next week, Julie and I will be at our favourite cafe, Malt & Honey, giving away a Rockswear South West Rocks tee shirt. We will be there all 3 days of the long weekend doing a tee shirt draw every hour from 7am. Every item ordered gets an entry in the draw. 22 lucky diners will win a Rockswear tee shirt but to win one, you have to be there when the draw is done. We're also looking forward to meeting all those who know and follow our South West Rocks Rockwear brand.
