Sun, slopes, schnapps… it’s time to plan your next Alpine escape 🎿

From Europe to Canada, Colorado, New Zealand and Japan, skiing has been a lifelong love affair of mine. And one thing I’ve learned? The best ski holiday isn’t just about the runs, it’s about the connections on the ground. Think resort insiders, our partner chalets, and those all-important perks like upgrades at check-in.

HOT TIP: If you ski in Australia, the right pass can unlock huge savings abroad.

The EPIC pass (Perisher, Hotham, Falls Creek) links you straight to Vail, Breck, Keystone and Beaver Creek.

The IKON pass (Thredbo, Mt Buller, NZ resorts) gives you Aspen Snowmass, Steamboat, Copper and Winter Park.

Want more intel or a fully curated ski escape? Slide into our DMs - so the only decision you’ll need to make is fresh tracks or fine schnapps.

My friend Jo Cooper (a foodie and the founder of ) chose her favourite restaurant for dinner last night and I can see why. This authentic Vietnamese meets Potts Point cool establishment was created by her no-nonsense and flamboyant friend

Bursting with personality it enchants with fairy lights strung across the laneway, a glam new indoor bar and restaurant, and a menu that’s as cheeky as it is delicious.

Faves? The KFCHU chicken wings, rice paper rolls, duck pancakes, banh xeo and coconut mousse – all insanely good.

And the fortune cookies – Nahji inspired and hilariously inappropriate (think “your spouse only married you for your money”), wrongly ended up at another restaurant. Let’s just say the conservative diners weren’t quite ready for it 😂

Her epic DJ playlists are also reason enough to stay for one more drink.

Go with friends, lovers or fam – it’s full of flavour, charm and good vibes.

🔖 Bookmark these beaches to know in Paros:

• Monastiri – Calm and sheltered, surrounded by cinematic hills. The beach club here is vast and elegant… think four-poster daybeds and a more serene, romantic energy. Definitely one for the beach club lovers, and more luxe than lively. Photos: 1, 2, 3, 4, 14

• Kolymbithres - A natural wonder of sculptural granite rocks and glowing turquoise pools. We arrived on a quad bike (equal parts exhilarating and terrifying!) and spent €120 for two daybeds which gave us a €50 went toward food at the restaurant set back from the beach (I’d recommend ordering basic things as the fish carpaccio they raved about was not great) and we still spent more. Also if it’s windy, skip the day beds as the area on the right turned into a full-blown wind tunnel. That said, this beach is often called the most unique and beautiful on the island, and I get why so would go back again pending the wind. Photos: 5 6 7 8 9 10 and 15

• Faragas – A remote cove with a chic beach club vibe. It’s featured on every ‘best beaches’ list, but for us the restaurant was overpriced and underwhelming. Stunning setting, but next time I’d enjoy a cocktail rather than a meal and just enjoy the sea and watch the incredible sunset. The boutique here was super cute too.

The island felt a little more spread out than Mykonos so I would definitely recommend pre-booking a car or quad bike to get around as once you arrive choices can be limited.

✈️🚢🛵 Must Save Transport Tips for the Greek Islands - what to do and what not to..

From Ferries to Quad bikes, buses to speedboats and donkeys on Hydra - Greece isn’t just planes, trains & automobiles (though we did those too).

My daughter Gala and I criss-crossed Athens–Mykonos–Paros–Athens–Hydra (for a day trip)–Athens–Sifnos–Athens, chasing friends, sunsets and the perfect beach… and yes, it was probably too much so I’d tweak our itinerary for next time (drop a 🙏🏼🇬🇷 in the comments if you’d like me to DM you this).

Ferries beat flights for charm, but add in 2 hours in total for the longer haul trips of bag-dragging, port taxis and good old Mediterranean phaffing about.

⚓ Book ferries in advance to sync with hotel check-in/out, and check in online at least two hours before so you have your barcode ready to board.
🕰 Get to the port 40 mins before departure time. Expect delays, half ours ran 10–30 mins late; use an app to track live times and ask your hotel to arrange transport to you at the port with a sign (if it’s Piraeus, ask them to park near the exit to beat traffic).
📶 Onboard Wi-Fi is about €3 and worth it.
🥶 It can also get chilly on the longer ferries like flights so bring something warm for the ride.
🧳 Your suitcases will be secured even if they don’t fit on the luggage racks, but do remember where you left them.
🚫Do not get on the wrong ferry there are many different companies so read the signs carefully.

Paros: hire a car or quad (thrilling but occasionally terrifying in high winds, and sunsets on winding roads are not for the faint-hearted).
Sifnos: a car is essential, book ahead or risk the last manual on the island (which, yes, I drove).
Mykonos: skip the car, brace for €40 taxis; or hop the air‑con shuttle buses into town.
Athens to Piraeus: if you pack light, the €2.50 train is quick, but no lifts, so big suitcases beware.

🚕 Always ask the taxi price first. Most drivers are honest, but some will test your holiday mood. Uber works on some islands, not all.

Getting around Greece is an adventure all its own, part ferry timetable, part quad bike thrill ride, part heat‑dazed luggage Tetris but it’s so worth it. 🇬🇷✨

🔖 Bookmark this hidden gem for your next Greek escape which we can help you curate.

Poulati: not quite a beach, but something more elemental and impossibly beautiful. A whitewashed chapel perched above Sifnos’ raw Aegean edge, where an ancient stone path leads you down to sun-bleached rocks and water so crystalline it feels almost sacred.

Insider tip: bring towels and wide-brimmed hats as there’s little natural shade and you’ll need a car to seek out Sifnos’ best-kept secrets. I’ll share more on Greek island transport soon, so watch this space.

Our friends also packed reef shoes for the underwater rocks and snorkels to make the most of that impossibly clear water.

Had the most magical day at Hydra with friends from Sydney at my (now) favourite Greek island ✨ Just over an hour on the fast ferry from Athens, it felt like slipping back in time.

No cars, only donkeys and handcarts rattling along marble lanes. We spent the day cliff-jumping, wandering sun-bleached alleyways, and finding beautiful things, like a handwoven gold-edged fan and the softest woven shoes from Koutsikou, a little boutique right on the promenade.

Ended with cocktails and mocktails at the Windmill Bar, watching fishing boats drift past in the evening light.

CRC Tip: Get a cliff top table early at Spilia where locals and travellers spend the reading, swimming, and sipping aperitivo until sunset.

Insider note: Hydra is so fiercely protected you won’t see a single new building, and Leonard Cohen once bought a house here, drawn in by the same slow, bohemian magic that still lingers.

Ask any questions or share your own Hydra tips below and save this for your next curated escape 🇬🇷🪸

Arrived in Greece 🇬🇷 First stop: Mykonos.
Curating a few fab spots to stay, eat and explore on a girls trip with my daughter Gala.

Staying in an area called Platis Gialos Beach - with myriad pristine boutique hotels with signature blue doors, the perfect for lazy swims and long lunches.

This is my third time in Mykonos… last time pre-children it was all about partying with friends; this time it’s a chilled vibe — holidaying, catching up with friends and our kids.

Flew Sydney–Doha–Mykonos direct with Qatar Airways (highly recommend. Doha airport is gorgeous for a stopover) 🐪✈️

Meeting friends in Mykonos last minute ended up with us taking the ferry from Athens to Mykonos, which added another 7 hours door to door - so flying straight is definitely the answer.

Save this for your next Greek escape or pop it in your travel Insta folder.

🇮🇹 Puglia, ten summers ago…

Our family had just come from my brother’s wedding in Positano, and was the perfect post-celebration escape.

Stone paths, soft light, slow mornings… and those creamy, sun-washed villas that feel more like private sanctuaries than hotel rooms.

If Borgo has been on your list or is your regular go-to, it’s even better with perks 💫
