Overnight, I Hate Socks reached a milestone that we never thought we’d hit. It’s the first BIG milestone we set out for ourselves - and the timing couldn’t be better to have hit it on Mother’s Day.

That milestone was hit because thousands of parents have gone looking for a solution when their child said, “These socks don’t feel right.” (or, to phrase it a little more accurately “I HATE SOCKS!!!”).

You cared enough to keep searching until you found something that could help.

Every order represents a parent who wanted to reduce one small but very real daily challenge for their child - and who wanted to get out the door on time each morning!

As mums and business owners, that support carries real meaning. Thank you for backing our business and for giving your children the socks they deserve.

Frustrated cause you can’t tell which size sock is which? We’re one step ahead!

Besides making the comfiest sock in the land, we wanted to also make it easy for parents who are stuck trying to match up sock pairs in the the never ending pile of laundry.

If you look inside the cuff of the sock, you’ll see the size printed on one side and ‘i hate socks’ on the other. So, just find two socks that have the same size at the top, and voila! You’ve found your pair 🥰

Designing and manufacturing your own product is NOT for the faint hearted 🤣

For 18 months we received sample after sample, and the reviews became more unhinged each time.

But ironically, the one with the big mistake ended up being the one we went with.

We’re now a few months post launch and so proud of what we’ve created - even if it did take a few ‘tennis skirts’ to get there 💫

Delivered by either one of our tired mum owners, with anywhere between 1 and 3 tantruming children in the back. Probably on our way to swimming, or soccer, or footy, or the surf club…. Or wherever the mum-uber has to go that day.

Proof that Adults 💚 i hate socks too!

Loved receiving this pic from a happy customer we met at the on the weekend.

We originally designed our socks to help kids who were extra sensitive to the lumps, bumps and feel of socks- but quickly found that adults loved them just as much!

Thanks to our innovative design with no shaped heel, our socks are pretty much one size fits ‘most’ - the size just determines the height.

Term 2 starts this week… 🫣

If Term 1 mornings felt harder than they should, you’re not alone 💚

School mornings can be a lot 😅
and it’s often the smallest things that cause the biggest delays.

Something as simple as socks…
lumps, bumps, a heel that just doesn’t sit right.

Moral of the story?
It’s not your kid that’s the issue. It’s their socks 🧦

SO….we got rid of the bumpy toe seam and ditched the heel, creating the perfect school socks for kids…

🎉 and one less battle for parents 🎉
