A little piece of Playtisserie, all the way in Japan. 🇯🇵
This week our felted play mats have started to arrive at their forever homes across the globe. 🌍🤩
One of my favourite things is seeing where our pieces end up. Different homes, different countries, but the same beautiful open-ended play.

Gosh, why does it feel so confronting to post a photo of yourself. It took an embarrassingly long time to find a photo that wasn’t blurry or of me holding a baby 😅

The most simple designs are often the hardest.
A felt sausage sounds straightforward… until you start designing one 🤔

Should it look raw or cooked? How much texture is enough? Size considerations. What shape feels the most realistic? How do we make it instantly recognisable while still leaving room for imagination? These are the questions keeping me up at night 🤣

Same idea. Different materials. Different craftsmanship. A world of difference. 🤍

Most of the “felt” we grew up with wasn’t actually felt.
It was synthetic polyester made to look like felt.

We’re bringing back childhood classics using natural wool felt, non-toxic dyes, and handcrafted by artisans, not machines.

Some classics are worth reimagining. 🤍
