There’s a moment after a good experiment where the room just stops.

The fizz settles. The smoke clears. The reaction finishes.

And then you hear it.

“Whoa.”

That’s the bit we love.

These school holidays, we pulled things back, kept it simple, and focused on doing what we do best — creating moments where kids are curious, engaged, excited, and completely in the moment.

No overcomplicating. No trying to do everything at once. Just hands-on science, big reactions, little faces lighting up, and families getting something genuinely fun and memorable.

Sometimes success isn’t doing more.

Sometimes it’s doing the right things really, really well.

And these holidays have reminded us exactly why we do this.

The aftermath of a good day at All Access Events 😅🧪✨

Tables covered in colours.
Floor covered in “evidence.”
Glitter where glitter absolutely should not be.
A few mystery puddles.
And kids heading home excited, proud, tired and already asking when they can come back.

Because the mess is never really the point.

It is what happened before it.

The experimenting.
The laughing so hard they could barely listen to the next instruction.
The bravery to touch something new.
The moment a child who was not sure at the start suddenly puts their hand up to have a go.

We can clean the tables. We can mop the floor. We can find the stray pom-poms for the next three weeks.

But those big, messy, joy-filled memories? They stay.

That is exactly what All Access Events is about — giving kids space to explore, create, make a mess and have the kind of fun they will talk about long after the glitter is gone.

BREAKING NEWS: After what feels like several federal governments, three ice ages and approximately 47 calls to internet providers...

The hall finally has Wi-Fi. 🎉

Which means:
✅ EFTPOS won't need a motivational speech before working.
✅ Workshops can actually use the internet.
✅ Hall hire guests can stop asking, "What's the Wi-Fi password?" only for us to awkwardly explain... there isn't one.
✅ Children can no longer blame "the internet" when they lose at Kahoot.

It's only taken us... let's just call it character building.

🚐 Holiday STEM Adventures are officially underway! 🧪🚀

The van is packed, the experiments are prepped, and we're ready to hit the road for our first OSHC incursions of the school holidays!

Over the next two weeks we'll be visiting services across Townsville, bringing:
🧪 Hands-on science
🚀 STEM challenges
❄️ Liquid nitrogen demonstrations
🕵️ Code-cracking adventures
🤯 Plenty of "WOW!" moments

There's nothing better than seeing hundreds of kids learning through curiosity, laughter and a little bit of controlled chaos. 😄

If your OSHC, school or childcare service is already thinking ahead to the next holidays or Term 3, now is the perfect time to lock in a visit—we're already taking bookings.

**** School holidays day 3/14 ****

After an amazing start to the school holidays Yesterday with Townsville Toy Library, we are kicking things off in style tomorrow!

Tomorrow we are very excited to start our OSHC incursions at Currajong State School and Holy Spirit Catholic College.

Currajong are doing our space adventure incursion!

Holy spirit are doing liquid nitrogen food science!

We have a day off today to get everything organise, and we will see everyone there!
