It’s been a long time between posts over here, and I think it’s finally time to explain why.

Around 6 months ago, our family business, Mazz & Co, experienced a devastating shed fire. The shed was home to so much more than just a business. Tucked away in one little corner of that shed was Worn Denim - my personal sustainability side hustle. A project built around reclaiming, reviving and reloving second-hand denim and keeping quality clothing out of landfill.

Unfortunately, the fire took Worn Denim with it too.

Since then, I’ve quietly sat with the reality that I don’t think I have it in me to rebuild this little project from scratch again. And honestly, that’s been a hard thing to admit because I loved what I was building with Worn Denim.

To everyone who supported this journey over its short lifespan, THANK YOU. Whether you bought a piece, visited the racks, came to the markets, donated denim, shared posts or simply followed along… I appreciate you more than you know.

Worn Denim may be coming to an end, but the message behind it never will. Sustainable fashion, second chances and finding beauty in old things will always matter.

Reclaimed, Revived & Reloved,

Nicky ###
