Learning to love your Overlocker part two - Fabulous Flatlock today at Heights Sewing Centre All the students did an amazing job, for some it was the first time using decorative thread in their machines for all it was the first time flatlocking and ladder stitching. You might have seen my stories from last week making butterfly / fairy wings . The very best thing about sewing is making something you are proud of and brings joy to yourself or others. Ist book week dress up for my granddaughter and she is wearing the wings I made. I created the straps using the rolled hem technique I teach in Learning to Love your Overlocker, easy, fun and it works every-time.

How many Sew Swirly Totes are too many ? Asking for a friend 😂 …..I took all of mine to class today. I had a fantastic day at Patchwork Maze, teaching this class . Today was all about fabrics making and getting creative with thread all will be revealed next week after part two

Coverstitch-Sew much more than just a hem was the last class at Set On Sewing and Craft before heading home. We had a great day learning all things coverstitch including binding, gathering, top coverstitch, even repairing underwear (no pics of this)
There was a Soft Loc & Flannelette purchase inspired from the overlocking class - such pretty colours !
We finished class and I was straight to the airport and on a flight to Melb. Thanks so much Angela and team for looking after me so well, I’m am so very lucky I am able to meet so many amazing people doing what I love.

Part Two of Learning to love your overlocker - Fabulous Flatlock today at Set On Sewing and Craft. Everyone did a fantastic job working through the workbook and making their cover. Looking forward to Coverstitch tomorrow

Two amazing classes so far at Set On Sewing and Craft. Learning to love your Overlocker both days, tomorrow we are back for part two, Fabulous Flatlock and coverstitch on Friday. Thanks to everyone who has attended so far, I’ve had the best couple of days.
