✨ WELCOME BACK ~ Where did the time go!? ✨
Hey hey Little Turtles Family! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Where to begin!?
I am very lost with where 2022 went to be honest but I know it was full of lots of fun, laughter & love. I made it a priority to embrace so many aspects of life especially after the last 2 years that I went on a very unintentional hiatus from Little Turtles.
Our eldest (Mr T) completed his first year of full time education, was a superstar whilst doing it & is about to start Grade 2.
Our youngest (J man) thrived at his new kinder & he’s made some great little mates.
Covid finally got us! It was a lovely gift from my husband for Mother’s Day!
In August, we went to Fiji. I stayed there for a month with our sons (Aged 6 & 4). And let me just say - it was the most amazing month.
The life lessons our sons had were exactly why we did it.
They snorkelled, held hermit crabs, chased frogs, counted geckos and went ‘fishing’ every morning with clothesline pegs, a self made fishing rod and a magnet. The imagination & their brothers bond was breathtaking to watch.
For me the trip “filled my cup” perfectly. I needed it. My mental health has needed some TLC and seeing family & friends over there helped me hit reset on so much of myself.
In November, my husband & I celebrated our belated 10th Wedding Anniversary in Darwin. It was our first holiday without kids.
We had such an incredible time together cramming stuff in but relaxing at the same time.
I even swam in the Croc Cage (or the jar as I call it) where you get lowered into a tank with a Crocodile whilst you sit in a perplex ‘cage’….
It was such an adrenaline rush! Get to Darwin! It’s amazing!
And then well 2022 came to an end with Christmas and a New Year.
And now we are mid way through January! CRAZY!
2023 will be for me a bit of a juggle. I will be studying a few courses, the boys have sporting commitments and the business my husband and I have is picking up pace.
Little Turtles will be getting much more love this year.
I may not be able to commit to being at markets every week or fortnight but I will try for monthly.
I am also planning more frequent posts with some random Tips & Tricks that I’ve done along the way of being a Mum. As well as wanting you to share yours.
Our online store will be relaunched soon (I’m working on it in between school holiday crazy shenanigans) but until it is, orders can be placed through Facebook Messenger or email.
Lastly, thank you to the continued support, the referrals and for the simple little check ins.
The last few years have certainly been challenging for us all for so many different reasons, and it has been nice to know that it hasn’t destroyed peoples ability to be compassionate & kind.
Stay safe. Much love.
Sam
