Something from the archives for your Tuesday morning! This pumpkin spice wool has always been a fave of mine, and paired with this genuine vintage lining & a cross-over front - it’s almost perfection in my books!
I’ve been a little absent on here recently, but I’d love to get back into it. So I’m going to post some things from the archives for a few days. If anything inspires you and makes you want a vest/coat of your own, please get in touch. I’d love to make you something.

This may be my favourite hot water bottle whale I’ve every made - because of its back.

I wanted to make something with this wool, but I didn’t have enough large pieces to make it from the scraps I had left. So I cut them all up & pieced them back together to make this magical patchwork back.
Genuinely it was so fun, it’s made me want to make all the whales a patchwork of goodness.
This blue beauty isn’t owned yet, so if you’d like it - shoot me a DM.
He’s $55 +pp (a little more expensive than usual, due to the extra work!)

Found this one of my kiddos when I made them their first hot water bottle covers! They were so stoked!
They are still used each night in winter & are much loved.
Oh I miss those little bodies & smiles.

Here’s how it works:
👉🏼Comment below with how many items you’d like made.
For example - “2 vests” or “1 adult coat & 1 child cape”.

🤟🏼Then we will begin the design process via email to create the custom item of your dreams.
It is helpful that we lock in your order within the next 72 hours - design and wool choice. Please be diligent in replying to emails.

👌🏼Payment is required before the creating begins - I prefer PayPal.

🤙🏼The turn around time on this custom order opening is an 8 week turn around.

A special make to start the 2026 winter sewing season.
A ladies pea coat in a fabulous orange/yellow vintage wool matched perfectly with this textured floral lining.
This coat was also one of my first experiences tailoring a coat to help with accessibility - replacing the usual buttons with snaps to enable her to close the coat despite some painful issues with her hands. I love when customers let me know their requests and we can try to make them come to life.
