Training of Trainers (TOT) on Nutrition Successfully Conducted.

BAPSA successfully organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) on Nutrition, focusing on Maternal & Adolescent Nutrition, IYCF, and GMP. The session brought together senior officials from BAPSA, YPSA, and MAMATA, creating a strong platform for knowledge sharing and capacity building.

The program was led by Ms. Shamima Chowdhory, Team Lead of BAPSA, whose guidance ensured smooth and effective ex*****on of the training.

The sessions were facilitated by renowned nutrition experts Md. Rowsan Kabir and Ms. Tayeba, who delivered insightful and practical learning on key nutrition components.

This initiative reflects BAPSA’s continued commitment to strengthening skills and promoting improved nutrition outcomes through collaborative efforts.

A high-level divisional orientation for the groundbreaking initiative “Health System Resiliency for Improved SRHR in Bangladesh” took place at The Peninsula Chittagong, marking a significant step forward in strengthening youth-focused health systems.

Led by Bangladesh Association for Prevention of Septic Abortion (BAPSA) as the principal implementing partner, and supported by partner organizations YPSA and MAMATA, the program aims to address persistent health challenges affecting adolescents and young people—particularly early marriage, adolescent pregnancy, and malnutrition in urban and peri-urban communities.

The orientation brought together a distinguished group of stakeholders, including representatives from government health departments, administrative authorities, and development partners. This collaborative platform reinforced a shared commitment to building a more resilient, inclusive, and responsive health system for improved Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) outcomes across Bangladesh.

🌍 World Health Day 2026 | Chattogram 🩺
Today, we proudly celebrated World Health Day at the Civil Surgeon Office, Chattogram, in the presence of the Civil Surgeon, Deputy Health Director distinguished representatives from various organizations.
BAPSA, along with our valued partner organizations — YPSA and MAMATA — actively participated in this important event, joining hands with other NGOs to highlight the significance of health and well-being for all.
Following the official program, we organized a discussion session at our office conference room, where we exchanged ideas and reflected on the global theme of World Health Day. The session emphasized collective responsibility, awareness, and collaborative action to ensure better health services and outcomes for our communities.
Together, we reaffirm our commitment to building a healthier and more resilient society.

We successfully conducted a Training of Trainers (TOT) Program from 7–9 February 2026 under the project “Health System Resiliency for Improved SRHR in Bangladesh.” The program was held at Krisnochura 1 Hall, Hotel Tower Inn International Ltd, Chattogram, and organized by Bangladesh Association for Prevention of Septic Abortion (BAPSA). Supported by HealthBridge Foundation of Canada, the training aimed to strengthen the capacity of trainers to effectively promote SRHR and enhance health system resiliency in Bangladesh.

We are pleased to announce the inception of our project “Health System Resiliency for Improved SRHR in Bangladesh .” The inception meeting was organized by Association for Prevention of Septic Abortion Bangladesh (BAPSA)- Lead Partner, on 15 January 2026 at Hotel Peninsula – Dali Hall Room. The project is supported by HealthBridge Foundation of Canada and implemented in partnership with Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) and MAMATA. Together, we are committed to strengthening health system resiliency and improving SRHR services in Bangladesh.
