“The best of your days is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he died, on it the trumpet will be sounded, and on it all people will swoon. *So send a great deal of blessings (salawat) upon me on that day, for your blessings will be conveyed to me.”

~Abu Dawud,1047.

“If anyone recites sūra al-Kahf (Qur’ān, 18) on Friday, light will shine brightly for him till the next Friday.”

~Mishkat Al Masabih, 2175.

"There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand."

~ Sahih Al Bukhari, 935.

আজ রণক্ষেত্র থেকে মিহরাব, সর্বত্রই হাহাকার। কিন্তু আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, শহীদরা হারান না। তাঁরা কেবল আমাদের ছেড়ে এক অনন্তলোকে পাড়ি জমান, যাতে হাশরের ময়দানে আমাদের নীরবতার বিরুদ্ধে তাঁরা সাক্ষী হতে পারেন।
