The craftsmen behind the scenes.
When we founded NOBO, it came from a place of valuing and shining the light on the craftsmen, not just the craft and the final product - the human element if you will. We dont always remember or do a good job of it. But here is a list of the mastercraftsmen whose work featured on the red carpet at Venice Film Festival launch of The Difficult Bride. Gratitude for the knowledge they have carried with them this long. Humanity owes them one, specially in this age of AI.

We are thrilled and honored to collaborate with the team of The Difficult Bride for the premier at The Venice Film Festival 2026, first time ever for a Bangladeshi film. Congratulations to Rubaiyat Hossain for carrying the Bangladesh flag high. A moment for the history books. Thank you and best wishes from NOBO.
We will post separately about the NOBO Jaali Jamdani Collection 2026, seen on the actors and the revival Jamdanis on Rubaiyat, but this post is to celebrate The Difficult Bride.❤️

NOBO is honored to feature in The Difficult Bride. It is an opportunity we dont treat lightly. Masterweaver Jamal's red jaali Jjamdani has an important role in the storytelling. Thank you Rubaiyat for taking us along on your intense journey.
As an aside, very early on at NOBO, we decided not to create dedicated bridal collections, but instead focus more on milestone collections, from the place of belief that wedding is an important celebration in life but no more or less than say college graduation or childbirth or big career achievement, among many many others. But The Difficult Bride spoke to us.
Here is to wishing all the very very best to The Difficult Bride as it premiers on the most prestigous global film platform.
