This is now a matter of serious concern !
The situation in Chittagong is becoming increasingly worrying by the hour. Days of relentless rain, along with water rushing down from the hills, have left large parts of Banshkhali, Satkania and Chandanaish under water.
Families are stranded, many without electricity, food or safe drinking water. Roads and phone networks have been badly disrupted, leaving countless people cut off from help.
For thousands of local residents, this is no longer just flooding. It is a struggle to get through each day.
