এবারের নববর্ষটা খুব সুন্দরভাবেই শুরু হতে যাচ্ছিল।

বিগত উৎসবগুলোর অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে শিক্ষা নিয়ে আমরাও প্রস্তুতি নিয়েছিলাম, যাতে সর্বোচ্চ সংখ্যক অর্ডার সফলভাবে আপনাদের হাতে পৌঁছে দিতে পারি। গত কয়েকদিনে আমাদের ওয়ার্কশপ যেন দেশজুড়ে চলা এক কর্মযজ্ঞের কেন্দ্রবিন্দু হয়ে উঠেছিল।

জরুরি ডেলিভারি সময়মতো পাঠানো, কুরিয়ার সহযোগীদের সঙ্গে নিরবচ্ছিন্ন যোগাযোগ, ডেলিভারি ম্যান ও গ্রাহকের মধ্যে সংযোগ বজায় রাখা—আমাদের টিম প্রতিটি ধাপে ছিল সতর্ক ও আন্তরিক। একই সঙ্গে চলছিল শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রস্তুতি ও নিখুঁত ফিনিশিংয়ের কাজ।
পরিকল্পনা অনুযায়ী ঢাকার বাইরের অর্ডারগুলো বৈশাখের ২–৩ দিন আগেই সম্পন্ন করে, শেষ মুহূর্তে শুধুমাত্র ঢাকা কেন্দ্রিক ডেলিভারির আয়োজন রাখা হয়েছিল।

কিন্তু চৈত্র সংক্রান্তির রাতেই হঠাৎ ছন্দপতন।

অতিরিক্ত চাপের মুখে আমাদের ধানমন্ডি জোনের ডেলিভারি ব্যবস্থা ভেঙে পড়ে। ফলে ধানমন্ডি, রায়েরবাজার ও মোহাম্মদপুর এলাকার কিছু অর্ডার আটকে যায়।

আমরা একদিকে কুরিয়ার সহযোগীদের সঙ্গে সমাধানের চেষ্টা চালিয়ে গেছি, অন্যদিকে আপনাদের সঙ্গে নিয়মিত যোগাযোগ রেখে পরিস্থিতি জানিয়ে গেছি। আমাদের একটাই চাওয়া ছিল—নতুন বছরের শুরুটা হোক আপনাদের পছন্দের সাজে, আনন্দে।

কিন্তু শেষ পর্যন্ত কিছু ডেলিভারি অসম্পূর্ণ রেখেই নতুন বছর শুরু করতে হলো।

স্বীকার করছি-মনে কষ্ট ছিল। এইভাবে বছর শুরু করতে চাইনি।

তবুও মনে পড়ল কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম-এর সেই পংক্তি—
“ধ্বংস দেখে ভয় কেন তোর? প্রলয় নূতন সৃজন-বেদন।”

সেই বিশ্বাস নিয়েই আবার শুরু করছি।

আপনাদের সবার নতুন বছর শুভ হোক।
মুছে যাক গ্লানি, ঘুচে যাক জরা—
অগ্নিস্নানে শুচি হোক ধরা।
এসো হে বৈশাখ, এসো এসো।
