Bragust 2025, day 15: favourite fabric/notion

I loooove mesh and transparent fabrics. The whole seek and hide, show or no show thing just fascinates me. The clean finish that folder elastic gives, contributes to a sleek, minimal design. Calm but interesting.

First spring thing of the year!
I saw a similar blouse somewhere in a reel and decided to make it. Because, you know, I can sew! Why go for a quick buy if you can spend hours making the garment yourself?

Maybe I’ll wear it tomorrow, under a blazer. It’s still too cold and I’m not good with cold weather. The sun is out and I’m really happy with the extra light after months of grey weather!

Pattern: hacked Maru from .patterns The colors on her patterns are impeccable!

Fabric: white cotton from .antwerp , fringe from a local store that has no socials.

Aaaand another sweater in that same light grey fabric. Because it pairs so beautifully with a pair of burgundy trousers. Because I had 5m of this.
Added a little lace detail, I’m a lingerie designer, you know ☺️
And a fabric hoarder 😅

Fabrics: light grey French terry, lace from ‘lace of the month a while ago’.

A new sports bra rolled from under my sewing machine today! Just kidding, I worked on this for several hours and had to use *that tool* a few times.
I do like the result but I don’t think I can have a run in it. Great for yoga or the gym though 😉

Pattern:

Fabric: velvet flocked leopard mesh lined with beige mesh for extra stability, black mesh in the back, black foldover elastic and a wide elastic underband with a h&e closure.
