It was the first time I made this kind of dress, and honestly, I feel proud to be part of this country.

I’m married to a Venezuelan, and I didn’t just gain a family. I gained a wonderful culture and friends.

My husband once told me, “If you want a true friend for life… look for a Venezuelan.” For me, that has proven to be so true ♥️

I visited Venezuela for the first time a year ago and fell even more in love with it. I hope to return one day and see the friends I left there again.

To surprise my sister-in-law, I had this traditional dress made in Belgium and shipped to Portugal so she could wear it at the Jehovah’s Witnesses convention in Porto in 2026.

Using the same sewing needle for every single fabric is the fastest way to ruin a premium garment. 🛑🧵

A needle that is too thick will leave permanent holes in delicate silks, while a needle that is too thin will bend, skip stitches, or puck your linen and cotton seams.

To achieve that clean, luxury look that European clients gladly pay for, you must match your needle size to the exact weight of your fabric. Precision starts at the tip of your machine!
