I’ve always been attracted to everything that lives in the sea. Yes, even sharks have fascinated me. The thing is, I bought my first ever shell necklace back in 2011, it was by Stella McCartney, & the addiction begins.

*Why am I ranting about this?* Well, this entire look consists of pieces that I’ve owned since 2019 (the dress) & the shoes are from 2020 (I’ve fixed the strap & resoled them) but my accessories are most brand new.

*Whats the point of this post?* That accessories, & the power of an accessory can really reveal what your personal style is to the World. So get playful & have fun.

Let me know in the comments below what you think my accessories say about me? & what do you think your accessories say about you?

Things I’ve saved on Pinterest over the last few weeks, as well as my last trip to Beirut for the launch event of my latest piece in collaboration with L’Atelier Nawbar - Fine Jewelry!

A bit about the this thread of photos:
Met my fluffy name twin, JACQUEMUS always & forever, Missoni inspiring me always and forever, I’m an elevator selfie advocate!

None of the photos are mine, except obviously, the ones I’ve taken myself. The rest are off of my Pinterest feed! If any of the artwork belongs to you, please let me know so I can tag you!

Help stack me for summer wearing a mix of new & old tinyOm pieces as well as a vintage necklace from my mom!
I always get asked about how I layer my necklaces, it’s easy when my OG stack is layer-able it’s easy for me to build it from there. I love framing the face, introducing color & mixing real & faux bijoux together. Your jewelry becomes an extension of your personality & is a fun way to express yourself if print & color aren’t really your thing!

The added bonus, is supporting a local brand! I’ve been wearing my core Tiny Om pieces since May, I am literally living in them & will be for the foreseeable future!

I absolutely love this print by BIMBA Y LOLA which I’ve been drawn to a lot lately for their amazing design-need to research if they’ve changed their creative director recently! My crochet top is from two years ago & handmade here in Bahrain! The shoes are one of my cheapest buys & most used items from last year! The hat is from 2023 & is by cos! The bag is a gift from Noof Khonji & is an ARKET collab!

These are a few images that have inspired me this month.
The photos are basically a combination of Pinterest interests plus some bits and bobs from every day life.

A bit of nostalgia, some stripe on stripe action, a selfie with the bestest, some moths fluttering about in front of my grandfathers house, a quote that really resonates with me, a 70s inspired look, runway outfits and color/print combos that make my fashion loving heart pitter-patter.

What resonated with you? Lemme know in the comments below!

During the war, I started this series in an effort to shed light over regional brands that I love & purchase from. And now decided to go local, highlighting a few of my personal favorite brands from homeware and fine jewelry, to of course fashion.

This is part 1 and will start compiling my part 2 list! If you know of Bahraini brands that produce accessories, for example bags and/or shoes, please tag them below!

I came across this skirt after almost 5 years of having it boxed up in the guest/dust room. I left it in there knowing it had potential to be one of my favorite pieces that my mom has ever sent over but I had one major problem, it was too small. My mom was TEENY TINY, most of her adult life; however, I have not been that tiny since my teens. Grateful I took it to right next door to me & got it resized so I can wear it on my movie date with Badoori.

Everything but the shoes are a few years old. The skirt is a couple of decades old & the slip worn underneath belonged to a different item of clothing but loved that it mirrored the silhouette of the skirt & was a sheer playful peek-a-boo option! I 💖 layering… A LOT!

It’s been a couple of weeks since the ceasefire came into full effect & now that I’m slowly digesting everything that unfolded over those 40 days, I have to admit that I feel the same. That I am forever changed, that I have a lot of anger & sadness inside me that come out in the most random places (crying whenever I see someone I love who I haven’t seen in ages is one of those side effects).

Now, with time, I feel that the markets are shifting, I feel that now there’s a bit more movement and spending that is slowly trickling in but ultimately I hope and pray that retailers in the region bounce back stronger than ever.

I am eternally grateful, that it took a conflict ironically, to be featured in (a dream of mine). Inshallah more features to come and under better circumstances.

Thank you to Shayeza, .maki & BOF! Sending you all light, love and mostly peace!

I love shooting in my office, it brings me so much joy! I particularly love that it out brightens any outfit I’m wearing because let’s face it, its BRIGHT!

What im still trying to figure out is my hair, the curls im slowly adapting to & learning that I like to break them up & get properly puffy and voluminous hair-a la the 80s!

My outfit is a mishmash of preloved, new-ish & outlet!
The skirt I got from a few years ago, the best is from also from a few years ago & the top is from from two years ago!

Will be tagging all the brands for you if any of the pieces tickle your fancy, because they’re older seasons, explore preloved apps & websites like Vestiaire, the Real Real, & eBay to find them! The hunt, at least for me, is half the fun! DM me if you need help though, happy to assist!

On a lovely Monday, a few weeks ago, in the midst of the war, I managed to hang out with the coolest peeps in the photography world & felt very very VIP because I got all this attention (& quite honestly didn’t know what to do with it).

Thanks for an impromptu shoot, hang out & for getting me to get up & get dressed!
