“Extroverts … draw energy from the world around them; introverts … draw energy from within. Both see the same room, just from opposite ends of the lens.” _Susan Cain_
As a counselor,I've been observing how us,human beings act and react to different situations.I believe that we need to understand how introverts and extroverts think.
On the one hand, extroverts thrive on the outside—sociable, drawn to what’s visible and tangible as Laurie Helgoe quoted :"... society rewards the extrovert's outward expression".On the other hand, introverts live inside—quiet, reflective, and deeply analytical.Susan Cain stated clearly:"The introvert is not a recluse, but a person who finds energy in solitude"
In my experience, they complement each other perfectly, forming a balanced team when they collaborate. Conflict pops up only when they start comparing. Recognizing each other’s strengths (and weaknesses) keeps expectations realistic.
So,what’s your take? Have you seen extroverts and introverts shine together?
