Let’s talk about why achieving your goals is never the end of the journey.

At Fashinnovation Talks 2019 we invited Ryan Leslie , Founder & CEO of SuperPhone® , to share his perspective on success, ambition, and the importance of continuing to move forward.

Because reaching a goal isn’t the final destination — it’s just another stop along the way. Every milestone creates an opportunity to grow, think bigger, and set new goals for what comes next.

In business and in life, success isn’t just about where you end up. It’s about continuing to evolve along the way.

What’s the next goal you’re working toward? 🚀

Let's talk about why innovation in fashion can sometimes take so long?

At this week’s Global Talks in London, , Co-Founder & Chief Creative Director of Curt Circuit, shared her perspective on one of the biggest challenges facing fashion today: the industry’s slow adoption of new technologies.

For Francesca, this can be massively frustrating. Having worked on the intersection of fashion, technology and innovation for many years, she knows that imagining the future is only the first step.

The real challenge is turning that vision into reality — especially when new technologies require the industry to rethink established processes, mindsets and ways of working.

And this is where innovation becomes more than simply having a new idea.

It requires persistence, collaboration and the willingness to keep pushing a vision forward, even when change takes time.

In fashion, the future is not shaped only by the technologies we create. It is also shaped by how willing the industry is to embrace them.

Because innovation only becomes meaningful when we move from imagining what’s possible to actually making it happen.

What do you think is holding the fashion industry back from adopting new technologies faster?

Let's talk about how important your voice is when building a business?

𝕮𝖔𝖈𝖔 𝕽𝖔𝖈𝖍𝖆, Supermodel & Entrepreneur, shared why social media has become one of the most powerful tools available today — especially for anyone just starting out, whether you're a model or a business owner.

From the moment you use it, you get a voice immediately But Coco was clear about something most people miss: you don't really realize the value of that tool until it's taken away from you.

Her advice is simple. Use it, even when it's hard to use. Show up for it, day by day, because that consistency is what turns a tool into something that can actually change your business.

In this industry, your voice isn't guaranteed. It's built.
How are you using your voice to build what's next?

September 2018. New York Fashion Week.

The first Fashinnovation event.

NASA . FIT. IBM. Ryan Leslie . Ministry of Supply° . Universal Standard. Oskar Metsavaht of Osklen. A fashion installation by Project Runway ’s Layana Aguilar WomensWear . A performance by Ezinma.
But before all of that, it started with two words written on a piece of paper:

Fashion + Innovation.

Eight years later, we’re still building.

This is where it all began.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to build a company that lasts for decades?

During this week’s , Alexandre Birman , CEO & CCO of Arezzo , shared the key principles behind building a lasting business in the fashion industry.

His advice begins with thinking long term and developing the resilience to face the challenges that come with creating and growing a company.

But long-term success also depends on staying close to the customer, creating excitement, developing differentiated products, and surrounding yourself with great people.

In a constantly changing market, building a strong brand is not just about short-term trends. It is about having a clear vision, adapting with purpose, and creating value that continues over time.

Because companies that last are built with patience, resilience, innovation, and people who believe in the journey.

What do you believe is the most important factor in building a brand that lasts?

In August, we hosted our August edition of the Fashinnovation Founders Table in New York City.

We welcomed leaders from Sanderlak , GIII Apparel Group , Old Navy , Macy's , Meta , CINDY CASTRO NEW YORK , Sparkiesus Official , Daily Mail , The Kasper Group at Morgan Stanley , The Brownestone Grupo, AZYR Specs , Fashion Institute of Technology, The MallbStreet , FLORA , Global Citizen , NRI 3PL , FILA , alongside other founders and industry leaders.

When we created the Founders Table, the idea was simple:

Bring the right people into the right room — and let the right conversations happen.

No stage.
No presentations.
No sales pitches.

Just a curated group of founders, executives, innovators, investors and industry leaders exchanging ideas, building relationships and discovering what they can create together.

I increasingly believe that some of the most valuable conversations in our industry don’t happen on a stage.

They happen in private rooms.

That’s what the Founders Table is about.

A curated private room for leaders in fashion.

The Speakeasy. Shhh…

Less noise. More substance.

See you at the next room. September.

Let's talk about how important data is when building a brand?

At this week’s , Arielle Charnas , Founder of Something Navy , shared how her community helps shape everything she creates.

From price points and small design details to fit, underwire, and thicker straps that conceal the bra, her followers’ feedback directly influences the product development process.

But listening to your audience doesn’t mean losing your identity. Arielle takes their insights and adds her own perspective, creating products that combine customer needs with the brand’s unique point of view.

In fashion, data is not just about numbers. It is also about understanding people, identifying what they want, and turning those insights into meaningful products.

Because building a strong brand starts with knowing who you are creating for.

How does your brand use data and customer feedback to make better decisions?
